Nowadays on social media, a big debating is going on that Is in concerned with an article published in a business paper. I am not supporting that publication but I would definitely like to Spotlight on another side of the coin..
If you see another side of the coin is that our main frustrating topic is Direct Plans. Direct plans are cheaper by .8 to 1.25% so the Direct Plan would be a better performer than Regular Plans. But ever you think is this true all the time?
Fortunately, we are in that field in which we are capable to compete manufacturers and capable to generate a higher return than Direct Plans using our knowledge and Investment Strategy. We need not be worried about Direct Plans.
First of all, we have to think about how the situation gets worst for IFA?
We are the only ones responsible for the situation. We have always promoted automatic transactions for building our AUM. Yes, you are right I am talking about SIPs / STPs only.
While building AUM we forget that we are cutting our own branch on which we are sitting. We have promoted SIPs and STPs like a magic wand. Now the investors think “why should I pay for the thing available free of cost in direct plans. Why shouldn’t I get more returns”. NOW THAT SIP CAMPAIGNS ARE HURTING US.
SIPs have also had some loopholes and that can be patched by constant monitoring portfolios, which can be done properly by an IFAs only not by an investor.
IFA should have their own unique Investment method which is not available in direct plans.
There is only one way to beat Direct Plan is use your own knowledge instead of using automatic transactions like SIPs & STPs which is also available in Direct Plans.
Investors will be ready to pay only when they realise that you can manage your portfolio better than Direct Plans.
IF YOU FEEL THIS USEFULL FORWARD THIS TO YOUR OTHER CONTACTS AND SUGGESTIONS TO ME.
